The Rolex World Rankings are the official rankings for women's golf. Not as well know - but perhaps a better reflection of how golfers are playing now - are the Sagarin rankings developed by computer whiz Jeff Sagarin and running in Golfweek.
And in the most recent Sagarin rankings, Cristie Kerr is the new No. 1, knocking Lorena Ochoa out of the top spot.
Kerr is the first American to gain the top ranking in the history of the Sagarin rankings, and just the fourth golfers to hold the No. 1 spot. Only Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb and Ochoa had previously achieved the top ranking.
